Crypto Space Commander is New Space-Based Metaverse Game

Published

on

In June of last year, the developers of Crypto Space Commander  released this game to high acclaim. Lucid Studios was the developer at the time, and the current design company, which has been brought in to reshape and redesign some features is the Hong Kong company called Animonica Brands. The game still relies on the Ethereum Blockchain, but some of the key features have been revitalized by the prestigious Chinese brand. In the main article we will be discussing the key features of the game itself.

What is It?

Like many games of its kind, CSC for Metaverse is a game that offers its players many different levels of engagement and several play styles. The native token for the game, which players require for purchases and advancement, is called the GRP. GRP can be earned by players through the completion missions, transporting in-game passengers, minting new items and mining raw materials. Players can also earn GRP through PvP combat. Of course, combat is a much riskier alternative, and ships lost in CSC are destroyed permanently.

Like ChainGuardians and a number of other crypto games,Crypto Space Commander relies heavily on NFTs. Non-fungible tokens are cryptography-based or tokenized assets that reside on-chain. They can be artwork, gifs, screenshots, playable characters, in-game items or almost anything else. In the ever-expanding world of blockchain, NFTs have become a crucial part of the economy. Artists create, trade and sell NFTs directly or as part of crypto-based games like Crypto Space Commander.”

Upcoming! Sequel to Popular Alan Wake Will Debut in 2023

Published

on

Alan Wake II is the sequel to the popular Alan Wake survival horror game developed by Remedy Entertainment and published by Epic Games Entertainment. Previously, the original Alan Wake was published by Microsoft Entertainment, but the new publicist has a lot of momentum behind the upcoming release. According to sources, Alan Wake II will feature several characters and environments that are familiar to players of the first game, yet there will be a range of new and improved features, and in the main article, we will discuss both of these dynamic components.

The Setting

The original Alan Wake game was released over a decade ago, and it was a very popular psychological thriller/puzzle game much like the Evil Within series. Now, they’ve altered the trajectory of the sequel to include completely fleshed out survival horror elements, and this promises to be a welcome improvement, according to sources and reviews of pre-release material.

The game will be set in New York, USA, as far as we can tell, and the titular character, Alan Wake, is up to his old hijinks. Meaning, of course, the player controls Wake through a series of mysterious and seedy environments searching for the killer.

The Developer

“This process now in working on the sequel feels familiar in many ways,” Lake said, “but at the same time it feels very fresh and it feels like we are breaking new ground. It’s a new genre and we are pushing further into the horror aspect of it, but also like exploring the depth of the character [Alan Wake]. In this game it’s like you’re really seeing who Alan Wake is. You’re getting an idea of who he just personally. So you’re getting more emotion from him.” Sam Lake

Sifu, an IGN Top-Rated Game Developed by Sloclap is Pure Fun

Published

on

Sifu is an action “beat’em up” style adventure game set in contemporary China. The French developers, Slocalp, truly captured an art-house style of original arcade games and meshed it beautifully with excellent modern gaming mechanics. Both old-school and modern gamers have reviewed this game and found it to be a real winner in many categories. The third-person perspective is perfect for the unique and engaging style of play, and the move sets are diverse yet easy to master, so any player can have fun and develop a solid understanding of the game. In the Main article, we will be examining some of the foundational aspects of the game.

The Setting

As stated, the game is set in modern China, and focuses on the story of a Kung-Fu master, the titular Sifu, who seeks vengeance for his fallen comrade at the local school. The player must seek out and defeat five martial artists responsible for the death of his master and the destruction of his school. along the way, the player gains new skills and masters new environments.

The game has a rich mix of art styles and gameplay mechanics. The environments are interactive, allowing the player to use objects in the landscape to land unique kills and colorful, florid chained melee attacks. The game has successfully integrated the third-person fighter game with the beautiful world of Chinese martial arts.

The Developer

“Kung fu or “gōngfu” can refer to any discipline or skill achieved through hard work, practice and patience. Kung fu as a martial art carries the concept of endless self-improvement, of a mastery kept alive and relevant by permanent practice. It is a strong theme of our game that mastery can only be developed through time and effort as we feel it’s one of the core teachings of Kung Fu.” –Félix Garczynski

Somerville: An Upcoming Unity PC Game From Devs at Jumpship

Published

on

Somerville is a planned PC game from the developers at Jumpship. It is a third person adventure game that centers on the integrated play styles of platformer and explorer/puzzle. The game is set to be released in the winter of 2022, or, at the latest, the spring of 2023. Previous credits that the developer of Somerville has worked on include Playdead, and Limbo, and the exceptional work that went into these titles seems to have been translated into this upcoming title. In the main article, we will examine the plot and play style of Somerville, hopefully granted some inside perspective to the interested gamer.

The Scoop

The player interchangeably controls three different members of a single family, and each of them have unique abilities and limitations that the player must learn to use strategically in order to get through the levels.

The father character, for example, can jump higher and has a few more strength points on his skill tree. The environments are post-apocalyptic, and the ruins of the several city-scapes present unique dynamics that the player must learn to manipulate. Interestingly, the game has little or no dialogue to speak of, and the story is conveyed entirely by the imagery and level design.

The Developer

“I struggle to describe what it is as an experience or genre, and I get happier the harder it is to describe. I can tell you what it’s not — it’s not an action game, you aren’t shooting guns and racking up a body count. You won’t be stuck on a puzzle for days. You’ll be fearful or stressed but not “P.T.” petrified. It’s really about taking in the atmosphere of the world, trying to get a handle on the mysterious narrative threads and connecting with some universal themes.” –The Escapist
