CUH developed a metaverse clinic

A virtual clinic is being established in the metaverse by Chosun University Hospital, a private university hospital in the South Korean city of Gwangju in the southwest. The hospital and a nearby health tech firm, Deltoid, recently agreed to a memorandum of understanding for the market development and commercial expansion.

Together, they will open a metaverse clinic where local and international patients can get virtual healthcare. Additionally, the location will host educational programs for the hospital’s international medical personnel

Chosun said in a statement that it plans to provide virtual medical services in the metaverse, a network of three-dimensional virtual worlds, in an effort to draw overseas patients and revitalize Gwangju’s medical tourism.

Health practitioners in South Korea are increasingly talking about the medical metaverse. A study group focused on finding ways to use the metaverse for the prevention, treatment, and management of diseases was established at the beginning of this year by more than 200 South Korean medical experts under the direction of professors from the College of Medicine at Seoul National University.

Other healthcare providers, hospitals, and health technology innovators in Asia-Pacific are also introducing their services in the metaverse, aside from South Korea. The Yashoda Hospitals in India joined the metaverse as the nation’s first healthcare organization in late June.

Aimedis, a Dutch medical technology firm, has announced that Singaporean healthcare provider Meta Health will join its metaverse clinic. It will integrate its telemedicine platform 5Digital into the digital clinic, allowing for the blockchain-based storage of consultation notes and medical data from IoT devices.

In the meantime, the Indian fitness startup GOQii acquired $10 million in funding in March to promote the creation of a health metaverse ecosystem that rewards users for adopting good habits and completing gamified fitness tasks.

The recording artist who has won multiple platinum awards and is the face of the most recent advertising campaign for Gucci Flora takes over the Gucci Town area of Roblox in order to create an immersive experience that is inspired by the fragrance. Gucci Town is the brand’s virtual destination for the growing Gucci community. It was brought to life in conjunction with game developer firm The Gang, and its goal is to provide a space where people can share creative experiences and make connections with one another.

G4AL collaborates for new releases

Manel Sort, a former FVP of King Studios, and his group at G4AL recently teamed up with Yield Guild Games (YGG), one of the major guilds rooted on the gaming community within the Web3 sector.

The player base of Axie was YGG’s initial focus, but the guild has subsequently extended into a variety of other areas.
