Dior enters the Chinese metaverse ecosystem

Dior, the luxury fashion label, has presented China’s first metaverse fashion show, “On the Road,” in collaboration with XiRang, Baidu’s metaverse social app.

On April 28, Dior opened its first metaverse show in China, “On the Road,” in collaboration with Meta Media Holdings, the parent company of fashion magazine iWeekly. The house unveiled its Fall 2022 menswear collection via an interactive experience in Ma Yansong’s virtual realm “Meta Ziwu,” which was built by the renowned Chinese architect and founder of MAD Architects. This place is hosted on XiRang, Baidu’s metaverse’s social application.
