Lamborghini partners with PUBG Mobile

PUBG creator Krafton has announced a partnership with Lamborghini to bring the luxury car brand to the battleground. Players will have access to four rare automobiles, including the Aventador SVJ, Lamborghini Estoque, and Lamborghini Super SUV Urus, until April 30. The automobiles will be available in two colors, including a special PUBG Mobile edition.

Lamborghini is synonymous with brilliance, and it will continue to be an official sponsor of the Winter Major of the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) in 2021-22. The Winter Major takes place from March 23 to 27, with the final two days being broadcast live from the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles on March 26 and 27.

Lamborghini has also revealed a partnership with Psyonix

Lamborghini has announced a cooperation with Psyonix to bring the new Countach LPI 800-4 to the Rocket League environment, in addition to PUBG Mobile. From March 30 to April 5, the latest automobile will be available on all platforms and will earn a spot in the game.

The LPI 800-4 will be available for 1100 credits in-game, with additional things such as the Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 engine soundtrack, Argento Luna Decal, and more included.

Lamborghini will also serve as an official sponsor of the current Rocket League Championship Series 2021-2022 Winter Major, which will take place from March 23 to March 27.

These collaborations illustrate a rising trend of sponsorships and cross-promotions between real-world automobile firms and mobile games. The Rimac Nevera was just included into PUBG: New State, while McLaren’s vehicles have already appeared in a number of titles this year.

The McLaren MCL36 was the first F1 car to have been revealed in the metaverse

The McLaren MCL36 was the first F1 vehicle to be introduced in the metaverse via Roblox, while the McLaren 765LT has subsequently been added to New State Mobile as part of the March update.

The trend of non-gaming brands entering the market is continuing to propel in realms outside of cars as well, such as the retail brand Forever 21 launching in Roblox with its real-world clothing collections being added to the metaverse’s stores. In Forever 21 Shop City, the latest clothing releases are made available for purchase for players’ avatars.
