Marriott Bonvoy logs into the metaverse with debut of travel-inspired NFTs

Marriott Bonvoy will be one of the first hospitality brands to create its own NFTs. Art Basel Miami Beach 2021 will reveal the new exhibition, inspired by the travel program’s global “Power of Travel” campaign.

Blockchain-based NFTs are one-of-a-kind digital collectibles

NFTs are digital collectibles that are tradable on the blockchain. Which is frequently referred to as the metaverse’s “key”. Moreover, the metaverse is a fictitious version of the internet that allows users to create 3-D virtual environments. Moreover using standard personal computers. During Art Basel, the world’s premier art show for modern and contemporary art, the NFTs will be unveiled at the FaZe Forever Powered by MoonPay event. In addition to the NFTCODE reveal, three lucky attendees will win 200,000 Marriott Bonvoy points as well as one of the NFTs.

Marriott Bonvoy’s global Power of Travel campaign achieved several industry and company firsts, including the first time a hospitality brand used TikTok, the first time an out-of-home placement used Pinterest’s technology and real-time trends, and more. In the year 2022, Marriott Bonvoy wants to continue to establish a presence in the metaverse and engage with customers in new and innovative ways.
