Mytaverse has secured $7.6 million for a platform that will allow companies to develop Metaverse apps.
Gaming businesses aren’t the only ones who have developed a sudden interest in the Metaverse, which is described in novels like Snow Crash and Ready Player One as a cosmos of interconnected virtual realities. Companies are also adopting the metaverse to virtualize their enterprises during the epidemic, thanks to technology pioneers like Nvidia and its Ominverse modeling tools.
People and businesses will require a solution to bridge the gap between physical and digital reality once the globe reopens, according to Mytaverse. In-person, hybrid, and remote encounters are proving difficult for businesses and their customers to resolve.
PepsiCo, Zaha Hadid Architects, Dassault Aviation, and packaging maker Tekni-Plex have all used Mytaverse’s business metaverse solutions since its inception in 2021. The financing was led by Blumberg Capital, with participation from Baselayer Ventures, Correlation Ventures, Accelerator Ventures, and others.
In a statement, Blumberg stated, “Pandemic has been a driver for virtualization, and the potential for innovation in the metaverse continue to expand.” “Mytaverse symbolizes the future of the virtual enterprise,” Blumberg said in a statement, “where organizations boost engagement and efficiency by providing captivating experiences in the Metaverse.” “We’re excited to collaborate with Kenny, Jaime, and the rest of the Mytaverse team as they help businesses unlock the promise of the business metaverse and create disruptive technology solutions for the enterprise and beyond.”
While the cloud-based platform’s initial focus was on meeting rooms, conferences, training simulations, large-scale interactive events, and showrooms, Mytaverse is now expanding into new multi-dimensional and cross-platform use cases in brand engagement, non-fungible token (NFT) galleries, entertainment, human resources, and coworking in a more sustainable and cost-effective manner.
Jaime Lopez, chief technology officer and founder of Mytaverse, stated, “Our purpose at Mytaverse is to enable and stimulate engagement between brands, their customers, and partners.” “We do it by allowing our customers to deploy digital twins of their products in their own branded, photorealistic dynamic 3D environment. Mytaverse breaks down physical barriers by allowing anybody, everywhere, at any time, access to the Metaverse.”
