YHG steps into the healthcare metaverse

The Yashoda Hospitals Group, situated in Hyderabad, invested in decentral and the most widely used metaverse platform. To commemorate the organization’s more than three decades of public service, experience zones have been set up. According to Yashoda Hospitals, this is the first time a Japanese medical institution has done so on a global metaverse platform.

“We are happy to be able to claim several firsts as a direct result of our early commitment to the overall development of our company. This list of firsts includes infrastructure improvements, technological developments, and clinical quality. We’ve always been early users of digital technologies, from Web 1.0 to Web 2.0 to today’s Web 3.0. As a result of this, we’ve been able to add value to our ecosystem. This is still true in our day and age.”

The introduction of new technologies such as bitcoin and Web 3.0 would expedite the transition from centralized to decentralized ecosystems. Dr. Abhinav Gorukanti, the CEO of Yashoda Hospitals, expressed his displeasure at the news.

“We will continue to improve and invest in making our digital infrastructure future-ready,” the CEO added, adding that “establishing our presence on decentral is the first step toward our efforts and acceptance of decentralized technology.”

Once the platform regulations have evolved, having the capacity to give not just medical treatments but also career chances to people in the metaverse will be a tremendous benefit to the hospital organization

“Web 3.0 and the metaverse will change human interaction, we think. Future digital interactions will be more realistic.” Telemedicine offers patients a comparable but not identical experience to face-to-face therapy. Medical education will also change drastically. Conference participants and teachers may utilize avatars to converse in-person. Yashoda Hospitals wanted to help metaverse doctors. Future clinics and hospitals may be virtual.

A publicly accessible virtual environment that can be accessed via the internet is referred to as the metaverse. It’s a cross between the physical and digital realms. Imitating human actions and emotions, among other things, can be used to build a “virtual world.” The concept of a metaverse that encompasses both physical and virtual domains is intriguing.

NeXR engages in new metaverse project

Published

NeXR Technologies SE has joined the Metaverse Standards Forum, a consortium of over 30 IT companies, groups, and entities working to create an interoperable Metaverse.

By joining the 35-person group, the Berlin, Germany-based company intends to share its expertise in open interoperability standards, avatar development, motion capturing (mocap), and virtual reality technologies with colleagues for creating the Metaverse.

The business boasts a selection of XR cloud-based solutions, including its Avatar

Cloud computing platforms, where the latter uses Epic Games’ Unreal Engine to host avatars and metaverse solutions for virtual events while the former uses body tracking techniques for virtual changing rooms. The Metaverse is commonly regarded as the successor to mobile internet, and the Forum wants to create open Metaverse standards and unite the sector.

The MSF was established in June to promote collaboration within the extended reality (XR) sector to develop interoperability standards. Members include important businesses including Adobe, Epic Games, the Web3D Consortium, the XR Association, Meta Platforms and many others.

The group of standard developing organizations (SDOs) seeks to encourage the widespread adoption of innovative Metaverse standards while minimizing the need for repeated development work.

Such industry standards, according to Markus Peuler, Managing Director of NeXR Technologies SE, are “a critical catalyst” for bringing forward fresh technological advancements.

He stated, “Especially from the user standpoint, the development of industry standards is a critical stimulant for the breakthrough of new technologies. Technological barriers must be removed in order to minimize costs and enable mass market penetration. Additionally, the increased functionality of programs as a result encourages users to engage themselves in the metaverse.”

The Khronos Group had previously announced that it would hold the Forum to realize the potential of creating industry-wide standards in an effort to overcome barriers in the future of an open-source Metaverse.

According to Neil Trevett, president of Khronos, the association will join the group’s members in July to assure the acquisition of “a constellation of interoperability standards.”

TEC brings variety in the NFT space

This project, known as The Excorcist’s Cookbook, is centered on the version of the metaverse known as the Sandbox that is currently available. Because this will be a play-to-learn game, the objective is to create a fictitious universe in which players take on the role of a bounty hunter tasked with tracking down both demons and people.

Even though the aesthetics in the Sandbox are limited at the moment, the developer is not going to let this deter them from designing fantastic gameplay features that will not only please the holders but also compensate those who are not voxel fans. The undertaking is significantly more extensive than the holders would ordinarily anticipate.

“We are planning to construct the largest map that we are capable of, complete with both above-ground fields and an underground tube network if at all possible. We have plans to introduce more complex melee combat mechanics, firearms, talents, and spells, as well as multiple classes with a variety of distinct playstyles.”

Each of the NFT will be playable in the game, and the first collection will be representative of the hunter class, which will mostly concentrate on gunfights

“We are going to launch the second collection exactly one month after we reach the point when 100 percent of the first collection has been sold, at which point we will expose the second collection to the public. On the pre-sale, the privilege to mint is going to be reserved only for the holders.”

The company is intending to introduce their very own cryptocurrency once all of the items in the second collection have been sold. This money will be generated automatically by holders for each of their assets; hence, the more assets they have, the more it will generate.

“We are not going to pause after the introduction of our currency for any reason. Since we have made it this far, we are going to celebrate by purchasing the first plot of land in the Sandbox and getting started on the actual game production! From this point on, we are going to inundate you with information regarding every strategy as well as every facet of the next game.”
