CryptoVoxels will be the home of the Spells of Genesis trading card exhibit as NFT galleries become increasingly commonplace in the metaverse. Spells of Genesis (SoG), widely recognized as the first play-to-earn blockchain game, celebrates its fifth anniversary on Thursday. Many of the game’s trading card-based NFTs were first released by EverdreamSoft in 2015, while the game’s mobile trading card game did not launch until 2017.
On April 20, Everdream Soft announced the opening of an NFT History Museum within the CryptoVoxels metaverse to mark the occasion. New and vintage SoG cards, as well as materials from several other popular NFT collections, will be included in this virtual display.
Spells of Genesis fuses a trading card game with point-and-shoot arcade gameplay
Spells of Genesis is a point-and-shoot arcade game that combines trade cards and point-and-shoot gameplay. Players must collect and mix cards to build the greatest deck possible in order to defeat their opponents while also earning cryptocurrency. In the upcoming exhibition, original cards from the collection’s origins will take center stage.
One vintage card will be selected each month and exhibited on the museum’s rooftop. Users who click on the highlighted card will be taken to the Spells of Genesis Showroom, which serves as a portal to learning about the history of blockchain gaming. The museum has been in the works for several months, according to the business, and will exhibit collections from projects that “have enhanced the continuing evolution of digital assets.”
The NFT History Museum, according to Shaban Shaame, CEO of EverdreamSoft, “puts forward some of the most significant and famous NFT initiatives in the industry.” The Bitcoin Genesis Block, the RAREPEPE Series 1 Nakamoto card, and treasures from another early game called Etheria will all be on show in the museum. The collections of Cryptopunks, Counterparty, Mooncats, and Axie Infinity will also be on display.
Users will receive a special discount on the card of the month
In addition, customers will receive a special discount on the card of the month, and one lucky participant who signs the NFT Museum’s guestbook in April will be entered to win a 2017 Spells of Genesis card. Other signees may have access to unique SoG experiences and activities for the remainder of the year.
