Pond Lehocky Giordano LLP, the largest workers’ compensation and disability law firm in Pennsylvania, today announced it has opened two offices in the metaverse. The firm is thought to be among the first to do so in the world for workers’ compensation, Social Security disability, and short and long-term disability law.
In Decentraland, PLG has offices at Parcels -51, -97, and 25, -28
Pond Lehocky Giordano will continue its aim of assisting as many people as possible with their legal needs through its metaverse offices, which are located at Parcels -51, -97, and 25, -28 in Decentraland. The firm plans to provide educational tools for the injured and disabled in its metaverse offices, assisting them in determining if they have a legal claim and locating lawyers to pursue those claims on their behalf.
“Even today, with all of the communication channels at our disposal, millions of injured and disabled people are unaware that they may have a legal claim against the party who injured them or that they can take legal action to secure benefits they are legally entitled to,” said Shawn Lehocky, CEO of Pond Lehocky Giordano. “We opened our metaverse offices because we’re excited about the various potential the metaverse offers us and law firms in general to educate people with legal needs in innovative and immersive ways so that they can improve their lives.”
Pond Lehocky Giordano intends its metaverse offices to give opportunities for clients to meet and interact with the firm’s attorneys and staff members, in addition to teaching current and prospective clients on their legal rights. The firm also intends to advise other legal firms on Web 3.0 initiatives, such as establishing metaverse offices, taking cryptocurrencies as payment for services, and investigating NFT products.
