The HDBaseT Alliance, the Pro AV industry’s largest interoperable ecosystem, has announced that it would transport ISE attendees into the metaverse with its all-new HDBaseT Uncompressed Adventure virtual treasure hunt game, in an industry first.
The game, which includes all Alliance Members exhibiting at ISE, features 70 of HDBaseT’s 200 Alliance Members, demonstrating the ecosystem’s broad market presence, including the latest HDBaseT 3.0, which is poised to transform the Pro AV industry with its unprecedented ability to extend fully uncompressed 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 for up to 100m/328ft over standard Category cable.
Players will use their own mobile devices to scan QR codes at each HDBaseT Alliance member booth, which will provoke small games based on augmented reality 3D objects, in order to join in the search. ATEN, AVPro Edge, CYP, Matrox, MSolutions, Pulse-Eight, Vanco, and more companies will offer prizes to players. The immersive mobile experience is simple to use and does not require any downloads.
“With 70 of the HDBaseT Alliance’s 200 members in attendance at ISE, the amazing number of booths to visit and HDBaseT products to learn about will go a long way toward emphasizing just how wide our ecosystem truly is,” stated Tzahi Madgar, President of the HDBaseT Alliance. “As a means of connecting with the community, in-person activities are a must. With this game, we’re pleased to add another layer of involvement and enjoyment to the presentation, and we’re grateful to our members for donating some genuinely fantastic HDBaseT prizes.”
The HDBaseT Alliance booth at ISE 2022 will once again be headlined by its signature HDBaseT Power Wall
The HDBaseT Alliance stand at ISE 2022 will be dominated by its iconic HDBaseT Power Wall, in addition to the virtual experience. Over 20 of the industry’s newest HDBaseT 3.0 products will be on display, including extenders, transceivers, wall plates, and hybrid bridge solutions from manufacturers like as ATEN, Aurora, AV ProEdge, Blustream, CYP, IDK, Matrox, ProITAV, Pulse-Eight, PureLink DE, and Vanco.
“HDBaseT has long been the global standard for uncompressed, high-bandwidth video delivery,” Madgar said. “Now, with the availability of the all-new Spec 3.0-enabled products, the market for installers and consumers is in a position to be revolutionized once again.”
