Boohoo announces a new NFT collection

The high-speed clothes retailer Boohoo has introduced a brand-new range of non-fungible tokens, also known as NFT avatars. This collection is the result of a collaborative effort with four different female artists.

The collection features 230 one-of-a-kind qualities and attributes, each of which pertains to a single article of clothing from the brand’s product line that may be seen being worn by 30,000 different avatars. Additionally, the collection includes 30,000 different avatars to wear the apparel.

Those who have the NFT will be able to participate in upcoming ‘Boohooverse’ events, in addition to gaining access to the walled Discord community that the brand maintains and upcoming metaverse projects. In addition, a certain number of randomly chosen holders will be entered into a drawing for a variety of prizes, including gift certificates for discounts and travel vouchers.

Amy Kilner, Reem El, Aoife O’Dwyer, and Shar.eth are the four different digital artists that worked together with the e-commerce label in order to design the NFTs. This was done through a collaborative effort

Sam Helligso, who serves as the brand director for Boohoo, was quoted in a press statement as stating that the company is “so thrilled to be able to advocate female representation once again in the Metaverse.” “Our mission is to make it possible for our customers to enter the NFT area in a straightforward and budget-friendly manner, all the while educating and supporting her as we make our way into the space,” our mission statement reads. “[O]ur goal is to make it possible for our customers to enter the NFT area.”

The release follows Boohoo’s most recent journey into the metaverse, which took the form of a Boohooverse Access Pass and was developed in conjunction with Amy Kilner. The drop follows the release of the Boohooverse Access Pass. The retailer claims that the pass was claimed within two and a half hours, which produced enormous surges in internet traffic, which ultimately led to the website crashing.
