SoleSavy unveils custom sneakers and new NFT SS4

The sneaker community, which was founded by Dejan Pralica and Justin Dusanj in 2018, announced today that it will release a limited-edition custom sneaker and NFT on April 18 dubbed the SS4. Owners of the SS4 will receive privileges including as early access to future NFT drops, sneaker releases, member-only events, and more, according to SoleSavy.

In a statement, Pralica, who also acts as CEO, said, “We’re incredibly happy to launch the SS4 sneaker and NFT, unlocking the next level of consumer experiences both in the real world and the metaverse.” “With the SS4, SoleSavy will be able to create a new consumer journey that doesn’t end at the moment of sale, furthering our objective to satisfy the most devoted sneaker fans.”

SoleSavy tapped some of the best talent in the sneaker industry

SoleSavy enlisted the help of some of the industry’s greatest designers to build the SS4. The SS4 was designed by Gemo Wong, a former Jordan Brand senior design director of special projects who is currently a creative consultant and advisor at Cactus Jack LLC, and Justin Taylor, a former Jordan Brand senior designer.

The Travis Scott x Jordan Brand looks, the Dior x Air Jordan 1 collaborations, and the signature basketball shoe franchises for NBA stars Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul are just a few of Wong and Taylor’s previous favorites.

The SS4 — which will be able to unlock virtual and physical experiences — took nine months to design, according to SoleSavy, and was designed using Zoom and manufactured at Garrixon Studios in Philadelphia.

According to SoleSavy, the SS4 was made with easy wear, style, comfort, and wearing hues in mind for the everyday sneakerhead. A glow-in-the-dark sole unit, subtle SoleSavy branding throughout, and premium packaging are among the sneaker’s design characteristics.

SoleSavy confirmed it will release 2,018 SS4 NFTs

SoleSavy has stated that 2,018 SS4 NFTs and 2,018 actual shoes will be released for the general public, excluding members, as a reference to the company’s founding year. Additionally, all 7,000 members of SoleSavy will have access. A maximum of three NFTs can be produced per wallet, according to SoleSavy, and all SS4 NFTs are minted on the Ethereum Blockchain.

SoleSavy has been a fixture in the news since its launch in 2018, most notably when it revealed in June 2021 that it had raised $12.5 million in Series A funding, led by Bedrock Capital and joined by a number of noteworthy investors.

In its four years, the company has also hired well-known industry leaders, including FN cover star Anna Bediones as director of strategy for women’s and Mitchell Holder as SVP of marketing in March 2021, and Marco Henry Negrete as VP of content and communications the month before.
