Brooklyn Nets comes out with a new VR metaverse game

The Brooklyn Nets have officially become the first professional sports team to enter the Metaverse. Dubbed the “Netaverse,” the NBA team debuted a new innovative video system over the weekend that develops 3D lifelike renderings in a matter of seconds. This new experience mimics NBA 2K22 in the fact that it drops players into another immersive realm, similar to a video game.

Brooklyn Nets introduce the “Netaverse”

With everyone striving to keep up with the latest trends, such as NBA 2K22, it’s no surprise that the Nets have adopted virtual reality.

The Netaverse launched on January 17, 2022, and it included an immersive virtual reality experience that immersed viewers in the action.

How it compares to NBA 2K22

The camera angles in the Netaverse are strikingly similar to those in NBA 2K22. That’s most likely what the YES Network is attempting to imitate.

If you haven’t tried out the different angles in NBA 2K22 yet, we recommend you do so. 2K Low and Swivel is the one that most closely resembles the Netaverse.

Despite the fact that the Netaverse is still in its infancy, expect a lot of new content in the future. You may also expect a lot of teams to collaborate with networks to create their own VR experience.

Keep a look out for a future merging between NBA 2K22 and the NBA metaverse, which is unavoidable.
