New Salvador Dali art expo in the metaverse

Published

on

Before the internet, Salvador Dali conquered the world. Art fans will now be able to communicate with him in the metaverse. Thanks to the famous painter’s recent incursion into the metaverse, millions of art fans may now be able to enjoy the works of Salvador Dali without ever leaving their homes.

A digital art exhibition of Spanish plastic artist Salvador Dal will open in Barcelona, Spain on September 20. The exhibition, dubbed “DAL CIBERNTIC” or “Cyber Dali for the English-speaking audience,” will showcase more than 200 of the artist’s works through the metaverse.

Visitors will be able to enjoy an immersive experience using virtual reality glasses, entering a metaverse where they will be able to create their own avatars and walk freely inside the paintings

Exhibition Hub, a company in charge of curating, producing, and distributing major exhibitions around the world, and Layers of Reality, an audiovisual production company specializing in creating immersive content, collaborated on the project. The digital interaction with the painter, who will use his voice to guide attendees throughout the journey, is one of the most realistic features offered by this exhibition. This new model of digital galleries offers something truly unique.

Jordi Sellas, executive director of the IDEAL Digital Arts Center in Barcelona, stated that the goal of the Digital Arts Center from the beginning was to create an exhibition that would be comparable to the “great Salvador Dali.” A dream that they may be able to realize with a project of this magnitude.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for art lovers, as they will be able to walk through Dal’s universe’s four spaces, which include the sea, the sky, the void, and the desert, immersing themselves for 15 minutes in his most striking works.

Although it is currently unknown which metaverse will host this project, it is without a doubt the first to “digitalize” the works of one of the world’s most important painters. We’ve already reached the point where art and the metaverse collide. Perhaps, in the future, the world’s top museums will be housed on the blockchain, democratizing access to world-class art to a wider audience.

NFSeed is a innovative NFT project

Published

on

The Sherwood Project’s first NFT is an acorn, the Oak tree’s fruit and a container for its seeds. The acorn is an united emblem of The Sherwood Project’s goal, radiating color against the background of a question. The Sherwood Project’s NFT, or NFSeed, will sprout like a genuine acorn.

Only 8333 NFSeeds are available. Holders may turn their NFSeed into a new, one-of-a-kind NFT, an NFTree, designed by an as-yet-undiscovered visionary. As NFSeed holders, they will have the ability to help choose the visionary, have a say in the creation of an NFT, have an effect on a film, and have unique access to NFT ideas hatched via The Treehouse program.

This NFT project’s NFSeed is not its final form. For holders, the NFTree visionaries, it is the initial step, the seed of a concept, a blank canvas

Every NFSeed has the potential to become an NFTree, a new NFT designed and created by a budding artist. The holder must determine whether or not to turn their NFSeed into an NFTree. In Q4 2022, the NFTree will be introduced.

The proceeds from the public sale of The Sherwood Project’s first NFT will be used to make a film. The documentary feature-length film, co-directed by The Sherwood Project’s creators, filmmakers Luke Dale and Matt Silverman, will capture every facet of The Sherwood Project’s DNA, from the hunt and finding of an NFT visionary through the Treehouse incubation program and the NFT ecosystem at large.

The film’s modest beginnings will be juxtaposed against the cultural pillars of web3, NFTs, cryptography, and art, providing as a definitive picture, a cinematic Polaroid, of this once-in-a-lifetime meeting of technology and culture.

The Treehouse is a project incubator for Web3 and NFT applications. For chosen NFT initiatives, The Treehouse will offer funds, coaching, and a built-in network of customers and supporters. Only The Sherwood Project NFT holders are eligible to apply to join The Treehouse.

Holders of the Sherwood Project NFT will get immediate pre-sale list placement on all Treehouse NFT projects, as well as airdrops, discounts, and other special offers.

Pacsun unveils new metaverse store

Published

on

Pacsun‘s participation in the ComplexLand 3.0 event is a continuation of their continuing metaverse and blockchain experiments. The garment business started taking Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, and Litecoin through Bitpay in October 2017 to cater to Gen Z customers interested in digital assets.

Brie Olson, president of Pacsun, said in a statement, “Being a part of ComplexLand 3.0 is a huge milestone for us in the metaverse, coming over a year after we released our initial offering of Pacsun-branded products on Roblox.” “There is no denying that the metaverse as a whole has an extraordinary network effort. In addition to customers finding community in the area, we as a brand are able to interact with them in a genuine manner and eventually develop our Pac Community in both the digital and physical realms.”

Diverse brands and businesses, including Forever 21, Crate & Barrel, Tommy Hilfiger, DKNY, and Walmart, have shifted their focus to the metaverse

According to a Gartner assessment, firms shouldn’t spend an excessive amount of resources to a single metaverse component since the adoption of the technologies in this field is early and unconnected.

As companies such as Pacsun explore the metaverse and cryptocurrencies, it is unknown to what degree customers, particularly younger consumers, are interested in these technologies. A research published in April revealed that more than half of Gen Z gamers want to earn money in the metaverse, and a third want to develop careers in the field. However, according to a poll 48% of adolescents were unaware of or disinterested in the metaverse. In the meanwhile, another poll indicated that although 74% of respondents had heard of the metaverse, just 15% felt confident in their ability to describe it to others.

Pacsun is targeting younger clients online and offline. Pacsun released a gender-neutral apparel range for kids aged 4 to 14 last year at Nordstrom, its website, and pop-up shops. PS Reserve, launched in July 2016, provides verified clothing, shoes, and accessories. Pacsun Kids opened its first store in the Mall of America in November and aims to open five more this year.
