LS Group, is launching the first virtual gallery dedicated to automobiles

Design experts are limitless when it comes to beauty and automobiles. Edouard Schumacher, CEO of the LS Group, which distributes legendary brands such as Alpine, Maserati, Lamborghini, McLaren, and Bugatti, as well as Renault and Dacia, decided to merge his passion for automotive art with the metaverse’s innovation.

The group’s art gallery project will be realized in the virtual world of the metaverse, on Decentraland and The Sandbox, two virtual reality platforms, beginning June 21, 2022. This gallery, dubbed Car-Advisor Revolution, or C-Art(T), will include a variety of works of art by artists and designers. NFTs will be manufactured for this occasion, with proceeds from public sales going to a foundation sponsored by Babette Djan and the organisation AEM (a future for the children of the world).

The avatar of each visitor will be able to wander through the gallery

“Even though the gallery is imaginary, we have purchased a plot of land in this universe where we will develop 800m2 of exhibition space on two floors. It will be a perpetual show in which we will update the art pieces that will be displayed in capsules “, adds Edouard Schumacher, the group’s president.

As a result, even the virtual world has its own set of land and property laws. Each visitor’s avatar will be able to walk through the gallery and appreciate the masterpieces that are currently being developed.

In the new digital realms, forming friendships and sharing passions are still important. With the C-AR(T) gallery, LS Group shares its automotive philosophy with a community of enthusiasts who have become very technophile, because art offers new vistas, breaks boundaries, and redraws our view of the world. The C-AR(T) exhibit provides a unique perspective on automobiles via the lens of art. “The C-AR(T) gallery of the LS Group aspires to write a new chapter in the history of the vehicle by continuing to surprise and inspire people,” says Edouard Schumacher, CEO of the LS Group.
