Rollerdome Will Be Released on PC As Early as Winter 2022
Rollerdome, the newest game from the developers at Roll7, is a fusion of post-apocalyptic shooter and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater for the new generation. This game will be published by Private Division as early as the fall or winter of 2022. The game is a beautiful and action packed mix of shooter and stunt game. It is a “cell-shaded” which means it is reminiscent of the famous art style of Legend of Zelda, Windwaker, which was so very popular in itself. We will be diving in to examine the particulars of the development thus far and just what we can expect from the release.
The Setting
The setting is, as you may have guessed, a post-apocalyptic landscape set in the not-so-distant future. The player is thrust into a kind of life-or-death, high stakes combat arena that forces them to compete against fellow combatants. So, the competition is a kind of death-match roller Derby that allows winners to gain their freedom. So, think Squid Game, but with roller blades and guns for everyone.
The game is colorful and fast-paced, like a post-punk combat game. Do you remember the game Kinetica? That game seems to have inspired a lot of the twists and turns and bright colors of Rollerdome. Which seems to be a good thing!
The Developer Perspective
“The fun challenge of making these in parallel, and being in QA where we flip between the two, was to do what we did with OlliOlli World in terms of the level layouts. The way one thing moves on to the next and you hit all these beats, doing that in a 2D space is relatively easy compared to doing it in a 3D space. Because in a 2D space, we know about how fast you will probably be going and what direction you’re going. In a 3D space, you can be going in any direction at any speed and that made putting the levels together more difficult but also more rewarding when we nail it.” -Roll7

Far From Home is Releasing “Forever Skies” in Late 2023. This slow-burn, first-person apocalyptic game is the newest effort from the developers at Far From Home, and it promises to be a winning release. According to sources, the game is set in a post-apocalyptic world where the Earth has been completely devastated by an unknown catastrophe. This cataclysm has covered the planet in a radioactive dust that is most hazardous. The player is thrust into this sickly and hostile world and must make their way across it to survive. The Setting
As stated, the game is set in a post-apocalyptic world after the vents of a nuclear disaster. The wasted and hostile landscape is something to be reckoned with all on its own, but there are a number of challenges that are going to make things interesting. The enemies that compose the pantheon of hostiles is diverse and terrifying.
The game can be played co-op, or cooperatively, or as a solo game wherein one just follows the story. Interestingly enough, the player does start out in a rudimentary airship, or sky craft that enables travel throughout the landscape.

Last Days of Lazarus, winner of the Best Romanian Indie Game and Best Visuals Awards in development, is coming in 2023. This gothic first person game is set in an alternate future in the era just after the fall of the Iron Curtain. This game’s plot is quite detailed and rich, providing the main backdrop for the mechanics of the gameplay. It is being developed and published by GrimTalin, and it is run on the Unreal Engine 5. As the world falls apart, the main character of the game must make it home before it’s too late. In the article we will examine why this game is so highly anticipated.
The Setting
The game is set in an era shortly after the fall of the Soviet Union, and the events become increasingly grave and supernatural. The main character finds himself on a road to his former home and the course of his travels leads him to confrontations with powerful beings and old friends, and enemies.

Developed by Proper Games, the Flock! game is set to release in the summer of 2023. The game will be published by gaming giant Capcom, and they have been pretty forthcoming about their confidence in the game. The whole game is a kind of zany puzzle, action-adventure game which puts the player in control of a UFO (Unidentified Flying Object) and requires them to find a solve environmental puzzles. The Game
Basically, the game focuses on a rather, on the surface, mundane task of rounding up all the cattle and farm animals in a certain area in order to abduct them. However, this task ends up providing many more challenges than at first it appears it would.
There are a total of 55 playable levels that will engage the player and force them to use new skills, and older skills in new ways in order to get the task accomplished. It get’s pretty difficult, if I’m honest. But it more than makes up for it’s simplicity in fun and progressive gaming mechanics.

“One of our biggest hurdles was creating a game that was accessible to everyone right away. To that end, we did a lot of tuning with the level progression to ensure users wouldn’t get overwhelmed early on, but we had to make sure that a lot of new interesting things unlock to keep the player engaged. We also spent a lot of time tuning the controls to make them as intuitive as possible. We wanted to ensure the game was technically accessible to as many players as possible so we had an entire team devoted to making the game run on lower speced PCs. From all that effort, I believe we achieved our goal of making the game easy to pick up and enjoy.” -Developer
