In order to expand the possibilities of the integrated virtual world, Index Game has signed an investment agreement with The Sandbox, making it a major shareholder and committing to invest $1.7 million for the development of its NFT, metaverse, and GameFi segments as well as the Web3 space. This play-to-earn content will be developed.
By the end of the next year, 2023, the initial investment of $1.7 million might increase to $6 million. Additionally, The Sandbox has promised to provide Index Game an exclusive deal for any new intellectual property generated once the two parties to the investment agreement are involved.
Thanks to an investment agreement, Index Game is the first Hong Kong-based firm to be acknowledged by The Sandbox for creating metaverse experiences. The Sandbox has also invested in Index Game, making it the first business in Hong Kong to do so.
However, this is not Index Game’s first partnership; the company has already teamed up with over 15 businesses and intellectual properties in Hong Kong to create projects that wow users all over the world. Other partners include Sun Hung Kai & Co, Adrian Cheng, Hang Seng Bank, Ocean Park, Fine Art Asia, and numerous others in addition to The Sandbox.
